 Re: Mass Effect 3
Rumours say that Bioware will bring a DLC with the happenings after the ending (so in fact the real ending). Of course it will cost money. or doesnt this sound like it http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic ... x/10089946

 Re: Mass Effect 3
This is ridiculous Quote: A user on the Bioware forums who goes by the name "El_Spiko" says he has complained to the Federal Trade Commission about the resolution of the trilogy -- and he's calling on other disgruntled fans to do the same. "After reading through the list of promises about the ending of the game they made in their advertising campaign and PR interviews, it was clear that the product we got did not live up to any of those claims," wrote the poster (who we're assuming didn't file it under the name El_Spiko). "This is not somethign [sic] I was happy to do, but after the terrible ending that was in no way the product that had been advertised to me and the lack of any kind of response from Bioware/EA to address this, I felt it was one of my only recourses." Get the fuck over it. Why don't we go back and sue Matrix Revolutions and Return of the King while we're at it. Can't believe people are letting the ending get to them so much. Go make your own damn game and end it however you want.

 Re: Mass Effect 3
Well, who hated Return of the King's ending? People complained that it was too wrong, but I don't remember many people actually hating what happened in it.
Not that it matters. This is utterly ridiculous.

He fucking had to kill an entire colony of Batarians. He had to let one of his squadmates die on Virmire. He potentially could have killed Wrex or let certain squadmates die in ME2. Those are sacrifices. Not some random stupid kid who may or may not have died (technically we dont see the kid dying) and who died because he didnt listen to Shepard. You could have shown the weight of it all getting to Shepard without the stupid fucking kid.

 Re: Mass Effect 3
It's not about the kid, it's about what the kid represents. There's a reason that, as the kid runs in the dreams, you hear the voices of all the people Shepard has seen die in the trilogy.

You dont need the kid though. in fact, it would have been better if Shepard was alone in the woods and he heard the voices. Like, the writers were just like, "we need Shepard to feel guilt so lets just put this random kid as symbolism", which is really lazy writing. not to mention, they should have just made the dreams cutscenes instead of having you have to control Shepard running. Made it more of a waste of time.

 Re: Mass Effect 3
I would have maybe bought the little kid thing if in the beginning, you see the kid outside on some platform screaming for help and you try to go and save him but you fail to do so.
But a random kid just being stuck in a vent and deciding to bitch out and not follow you and ending up on a shuttle that gets hit and may or may not have killed him? Fuck that.

BioWare's changing the ending. More details in April.
And yet fans still bitch. I'm disgusted by how people at BioWare's boards have dealt with this.

I noticed I wasnt able to complete some of the citadel missions even though I've explored everywhere in the galaxy. Theres something buggy since some of the systems didnt even unlock after doing the priority missions. I ended up with 6600 military strength

FILMO wrote: Did actually somebody here survive a MP Gold round? Just played once and I and my team got raped :-) yeah same. I feel like you have to do it with three other people in the same room (or everyone using a microphone). Also have to have a good mix of classes. can't have like four vanguards in the same game. And everyone needs to be at least level 15 or above. Hard to do it though with a random team who doesnt communicate.

I haven't even finished a damn silver game. Every goddamn squad member goes running off on their own.

 Re: Mass Effect 3
Silver you can do even without a great team...but you have to use all your survival pack stuff, have an armor/ammo bonus, teammates that can stay alive long enough to distract the high-tier enemies, and be a high enough level. At least thats what i needed to get it.
Gold is impossible without teamwork.

 Re: Mass Effect 3
Silver works when teammates stay together and heal each other. Then its not so bad.
