A B CinemaScore for Jump Street isn't anything great but legs should still be good, at least for a couple of weeks until American Reunion opens, which might hurt it a bit.

Dreadful Saturday nearly for everything will cause rather harsh weekend drops.

Yeah, really disappointing. I mostly blame St. Patrick's Day for Saturday's numbers.

46% drop without any direct competition or 3-D release for Lorax is quite alarming. It will still make 200m+ though but beating Despicable Me is certainly out of question.

Yeah, I definitely expected a better hold for The Lorax.

Ouch, even with SP I'm surprised 21JS is that frontloaded.

Wasn't there also some sports event? In any case great opening for 21 Jump Street.

21 Jump Street got slammed by both St. Patrick's Day and a lot of college basketball games with March Madness. Also, I'm in Wisconsin (Go Badgers!) and it was sunny and 80 degrees yesterday, in the middle of frickin March! The average high for this time of year is about 50. I'd imagine we're not the only ones experiencing early summer type weather.

It's still a very solid opening for 21 Jump Street.

St. Pattys Day + March Madness = Low Saturday.

However, spring break continues for more students so the weekday drops will be fine.

Right.

There was nothing "alarming" going on this weekend. St. Patrick's Day is an incredibly popular all-day event for younger crowds, especially on a Saturday.

Look for the numbers for March,17 from 2002 to 2011 on BoM daily charts. No effect at all or very little.
