I don't like that CBS is trying out The Mentalist on Fridays. But it signalizes that CBS will probably try with a 2 hour comedy block on Thursday next year.

It's kind of amazing that CBS is the only network that may potentially have a second 2-hour block of sitcoms next year. Sitcoms were huge once upon a time.

I wonder if CBS will ever start losing viewership. They've found such an incredible combination of edgy comedy, crime dramas and reality shows that all seem to work. When a show pulls 9 million on a Friday (A Gifted Man) and is certain to be canceled, you're doing something right.
