 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
Alex has been funny, but it almost annoys me that she's a ditz 100% of the time now. It would have been fine if she were played that way from the beginning but she wasn't. I hate when characters change like that. It's like when Elle Woods changed by the end of Legally Blonde and then was back to square one again for the sequel.

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
Some seem to have found tonight's episode fairly annoying: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1587678/boa ... 962347?p=1

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
Didn't like this episode at all. Found it kind of hard to watch with all the craziness going on.

The craziness is what made it so fun! I loved its energy. I laughed out loud a lot.

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
I think they do subtle humor much better than over-the-top wackiness humor but that's just me.
I did like that Penny is bringing back the Pennyisms again. souuuuuuuuuuuuucks.

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
Mmmm.... guess I wasn't really won over by this episode 'cause almost everyone was annoying besides Alex but I can get past that. Am I the only one who just can't stand Penny? She was fine last season but I don't know..

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
I thought tonight's episode was one of this season's weakest, along with the one where that annoying mailman died and the Christmas one. It was especially disappointing after last week's.

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
I actually found this to be a characteristically strong episode. So much good stuff.
Max the Bear.
Penny: "From the Angela Bassett collection, Bassett by Angela for Angela Bassett"
Brad on Hard Copy: "It was a viable alternative to a Current Affair!"
All of Alex's lines about The Butterfly Effect.

I personally thought bear Max was stupid.

Besides Bear Max, everything about this episode was stronger and funnier than last week's.

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
As per usual, hysterical last night.
-Mistaking rat poison for pirate cereal ("the boxes do look oddly similar") -the revelation Brad had a sex dream about Fran Sinclair, the mom on Dinosaurs (lol) -Dave as Freddy Kruger -the flashback of Penny thinking of a balcony jump after one day without sugar -"You said the same thing about Krippendorf's Tribe and now it's one of my favorite movies" -Alex and her ribs, again

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
The Penny balcony jump flashback had me SCREAMING with laughter. All the things you mentioned were amazing as well, also Penny describing the "whore's bath"

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
This week's episode was hilarious. I laughed out loud at many occasions.
Is this going to be the last episode with James Wolk? I think they left the door open for him to come back in the future. Even though I want kids someday I swear if a man that awesome were my boyfriend I'd stay with him and just forget about it.

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
Any episode with Colin Hanks is automatically awesome.
It was only a matter of time before Alex and Dave slept together. Probably won't change anything. They'll just laugh it off after one episode.

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
Since this is ending a bit earlier than most shows I actually wish they'd release Season 2 on DVD in the middle of summer. It would give people time to catch up before a new season starts which could help the ratings. Not to mention I want to own it A.S.A.P.

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
Elisha Cuthbert was awesome on Conan last night. Complete opposite of Beth Behrs a few weeks ago, who came off thinking what she said was hilarious when it wasn't. Not her fault, one of her first interviews so it's fine. But Elisha was great. Came off really sincere and down-to-Earth.
Makes me really wish the show gets a third season.

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
It WILL get a third season. No doubt in my mind that it's totally safe. But what will happen next season has me nervous. It's likely going on a new night with a new comedy block and won't have the Modern Family lead-in. I hope it can stand on its own.
Tonight The Middle and Happy Endings are new but Suburgatory and Modern Family are reruns. Wonder how the ratings will turn out.

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
I went on a massive marathon of this recently and am caught up within one episode. OMG. How are Adam Pally, Damon Wayans Jr. and Eliza Coupe not Emmy nominated?! I want to marry this show.

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
To be fair, Season 1 was disjointed. Good here, meh there.
When it's snubbed for Season 2, it'll be a travesty.

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
Yeah, Season 2 is ah-mah-zing. I will be pissed if it's snubbed. Eliza Coupe and Damon Wayans, Jr. NEED to be Emmy nominated. They are brilliant on this show.
