My next COD will may be the one they release the first time for XBox3 and PS4

Presales are at around 2.4 million compared to Battlefield at 1.7 million with 4 and 2 weeks to go.

Its going to be big sales for both, I think 25 million WW for MW3 and 12 million for Battlefield.

Blacks sold around 24 million on Xbox and PS3 WW btw.

Something about a family in London walking in the street and a terrorist attack.

For some reason, embargoes have been really common this year on bigger release titles. That may be the case here.

I would not listen to early user reviews, if we pay attention to the internet COD is the worst game ever.



Anyways the game is set to be the biggest COD ever with 6.5 million pre orders before release, it is already the 2nd best selling game of the year before it released.

At this rate I would say total sales of 25 million is assured.

I cant understand the high ratings it gets for sound. Compared to a Battlefield Bad Company or Battlefield 3 the weapons sound like plastic guns.

I heard there were swarms of people getting this last night.

Well no one really plays games on a sound system, so I do not think most casual gamers would notice.

How well is BF3 selling?

Well BF3 is selling well around 5 million copies in its first week.

However I would say MW3 has outsold BF3 before it even released as pre-orders were well over 6.5 million.

At this rate BF3 will sell around 12 million copies or so.

However the thing about COD games is they have legs so it should sell millions of more copies after its first week.

With no more big games (well as big games) on the Xbox and PS3, MW3 should dominate on the HD counsels all the way to New Years like Black Ops did.

MW3 sells 9.3 million copies in its first day.

First week sales of 13+ million are expected.

By the end of the week COD games would have sold over 100 million copies in the 7th generation of Video games alone.

Wow... that's insane, but the longer this generation goes, the more crazy numbers we'll see, just due to the sheer number of consoles out there.

Looking at the potential total sales of 26-30 million.

Black Ops has total sales of well over 26 million (Still has boost from MW3 and these Holidays to go) and is among the top ten best selling games of all time (Yes this includes the Wii games and Mario games).

When it comes to non bundled games MW3 looks to become the best selling non bundled game on a counsel

COD sales are not only big for this generation but are now all time hits with only the the old Tetris and Super Mario or Pokemon Red Blue games are bigger and comparable sales to top Wii games.

COD may be the same but its sales are just beyond anything we have ever seen for a non Nintendo game.

MW3 sells at least 12.3 million copies in its first week (actually only 5 days)

Xbox - 7 million
PS3 - 4.8 million
Wii and PC - 0.5 million

I say a big underestimate on the PS3, well over 5.2 million people on the PSN for MW3.

It's kinda absurd how big this franchise is.

I used to enjoy a lot playing the call of duty franchise, but now it seems it has turned to be the twilight for videogames

umm... not really.

Dunno if this is worthwhile or not, but I have about 4 hours of double XP time available, that I'll never use.

Does anyone think Elite sucks and that Black Ops tracked more stats and did a better job integrating it into the game, rather than as a stand-alone product? Yes, I know Elite includes map packs as well.

Yeah elite is dumb yet it will get near a million subscribers.

amazing thing is Black Ops is still more popular online than BF3 is MW2 is right behind it.

Cant believe the game is still using more or less the engine that was running Call of Duty 1!!!
