I dunno...considering we're in mid-June now and this should have a fanbase, I don't think we can expect anything above $52-53 million (in the best case scenario). And legs shouldn't be strong. So maybe a $130 million finish at best.

Re: Screen Counts and Crowd Reports for June 17-19
I somehow feel that $300m WW budget is too huge for Green Lantern. It would need $600m to get its money...even with DVD sales I am not sure how GL will be able to make that much, I see $400m-$450 WW total (which would be great for it and a bit more than WW total of total). I am not sure about DVD sales but can studios make $150m-$200m from DVD sales?

No, it really doesn't.. It just makes me smart and I called it and I don't have to see every new release that comes out like many of you do..

Opening slightly better than Thor is a good sign even though we are in June.

Thanks Libs I meant for the weekend...I am sure that the reviews would ensure it drops big next weekend.

It should have a good weekend. I bet it will do great on Father's Day. Probably looking at a total of 140 Million or so. The Last Airbender had dreadful reviews and surprisingly solid legs.

its done better than what I anticipated based on earlier theater reports by notfabio. I guess its on course to early 20's OD and probably close to 60M OW considering sunday will be inflated. But it will fall worse than hulk 2003 next weekend. What? You're predicting a 70%+ drop next weekend? Um.... what? There's just no way that will happen, like, at all.

Exactly. If they don't know how to behave, and feel OK offending others, they get their ass kicked, so they'll think next time before opening their rotten mouths.

Re: Screen Counts and Crowd Reports for June 17-19
^There are other factors as well.....Cars 2 is going to open big which means the holdovers in general will have tough time holding well. GL's opening weekend will be skewed with Father's day Sunday. Cars 2 will take a good chuck of GL's 2177 3D screens. Now I don't predict it to drop huge but I see it dropping in low-60's which is ok for the genre but still a higher drop IMO.
