Pixar has higher budgets because they always tend to innovate and do some "additional" steps forward which pumps up the cost of their movies.

Re: Production Budgets That's really good budget for TH2, it will start making money by the end of its 5-day weekend. Good for KFP2 as well they should easily make that money, it is going to be really big WW.

I am really wondering about Transformers 3's budget. The second one was $200 million, but I assume Bay and Shia were paid even more this time around and the trailer promises some huge scale money shots. Can't see this being below $250 million.

I have even read some sites mentioning 125m budget. Though that is most likely AFTER tax credits.

Re: Production Budgets Hmm so the states side budget is still quite high for Green Lantern, I am surely surprised with that number....this is so looking like this years Prince of Persia, it might do a tad better being in 3D and superhero genre tends to have better openings.
