Yes, the 360 was an horrifically designed piece of poop for the first few years. I know first hand as I had 3 or 4 (I forget) die on me. However, MS - being on the ball like they are - fixed the problem lickety split - in a mere 3 or 4 years! By 2009 the RRoD was a thing in the past. I have two post 2009 Xbox's that have been running non-stop for 6 years (<--- estimate) without a problem.

As for disc scratches, unless you pick up your Xbox and shake it around hard while playing a game, that shouldn't be a problem. I can say I only do this when drinking too much Dew and am feeling far too Xtreme to the max.

The world will be right again very soon. PSN should be coming back online in phases as the week progresses.

I would change my card number just in case they stole that too... But it's not worth their time.

Good thing i dont ever use my credit card on it, i only buy the psn card.


After 7 years finally 10,000!

The psn has returned!

It came back last night. One of my accounts could change the password immediately while the other had to wait five more hours for an email.

Now I just need that psn store up and I can play dc universe and mkonline. Played a round of bops mp and I was happy.

The lag for Mortal Kombat online is unreal. Can barely play it.

I was getting performance issues with WAW and BOPs zombies in almost every game I played. It'd be player time outs, losing connection to the host, and a strange error of getting signed out of PSN which would cause me to get kicked out of the game I was. The last zombie game I played lasted quite a while with minimal issue so hopefully it's just a hiccup in the system as more people get back online but a part of me is suspecting 3.61.

Do you guys ever play Zombies on Black Ops? Do you have any interest in that? 1 Round can last up to 3 hours if the team went deep like to Round 30.

I have played it before. Many times. It frustrates the hell out of me. Because the first few rounds take forever... and then it jumps to REALLY difficult REALLY quickly.

Zombies was my favorite part of Black Ops. I'd play with you but i sold my copy of Call of Duty long ago. Right the only online game I have is Borderlands. Which is infinite fun and I'd recommend it to everyone who likes shooting things.

Got the next BOPs map pack. Can't believe I invest all that cash in that DLC but it does bring more entertainment for me. The Shangri-La map is pretty difficult. Even having people with mics sometimes they just do whatever they want anyway. Luckily, I have online friends who know how to play. Already got to 21 with 4. I'd like to do the EE but apparently it has a boatload of steps and it's freaking difficult to do.

Also pre-ordered MW3 from newegg for about 48. May cancel that later if the Amazon deal is better with a credit. We'll see. Also, looking forward to BF3.

Have also been playing my free month of DC Universe online and am level 9. I like it so far, but I don't think I'll play more than a couple more months if that.

If DC Universe did not have a monthly subscription I would be playing it with you now. I already gave WoW thousands of dollars, not about to start that up again. Unless The Old Republic is really good....

Right now I'm finishing up Darksiders. The story is weak, and it seems like all the characters are voiced by the same actor. Yet the gameplay is very fun. The Zelda-like dungeons compliment the hack n slash pretty well.

I think this a big get for Sony. PS3 users can now get the NFL Sunday ticket without a dish. It costs 340 I think however for non directive satellite subscribers. Id get it but can't afford it sadly. I'm gonna have to stay with the red zone channel one more year.

Red Zone channel is amazing. Definitely need to get it this year.

If you had played DC Universe about 4 months ago, I would have joined with you in game.

The recent price drop means I may have to give in and complete the set for this generation. There may just be enough PS3 games I want to play now to justify a purchase, but it's still close.

Well I gave up on DC Universe even though I think it's free now.

I still play Black Ops multiplayer when I can with my friends. We try to play as a team. I dabble in zombies still but not as much.

Currently, I'm playing Battlefield 3 on single player. I'm enjoying the campaign even though it's ultra scripted. I'm fine with that. Then I'll dip into multiplayer. Hopefully before MW3 comes out.

I finally broke down and bought a PS3. Should be here tomorrow. Now I have to look for some games.

With Uncharted, should I start with the first, or does it not really matter at all?

Its a triology so yes you should start with the first. Uncharted 3 is realeased within days.
Would make to start with 1 now then 2 and then you can finish the story with 3.
