Post HAPPY ENDINGS
Just watched the first two episodes. I thought it was going to suck but it was actually fairly amusing. I'll keep watching.

I was pleasantly surprised. The male lead was bland and I'm not sure how much comedic material Elisha Cuthbert was really given, but I definitely liked the other four characters a lot and the jokes were pretty good.

Yeah, I laughed. I liked the dark-haired girl and the gay guy best so far. Both were humorous.

I was very surprised. I thought it was hilarious, especially Casey Wilson.

I'm hoping it will last but it probably won't. Don't really think Cougar Town is a great lead-in ratings-wise.

TV.com liked this show, and their two favorite characters are mine. We have so much in common :P.

This show is HILARIOUS. Tonight's episodes were awesome. It does pop culture references better than so many shows on the air right now, including "Community."

Post Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
So while watching the third episode I laughed my ass off when Penny was asking Alex would she date if she was in a trap and cougar was after her and Alex said: "That's crazy. Why would that happen...?" I missed like everything after that moment because I was laughing sooo loud, so I had to rewind to hear what they were saying after. And I was disappointed to hear that Penny killed the joke by explaining that would happen if you father was the head of an anti-terrorist agency and he had 24 hours or whatever... It was a total overkill. If people didn't get the cougar joke (it's the most infamous thing in the whole 24 series) then not even "the explanation" would help. Is a joke really a joke if you have to explain it?????

I agree be.redy. It went on too long.

Enjoyed the episodes last night though. The second was especially funny.

Despite not having Modern Family to anchor the night and despite Cougar Town being down from last week (and tieing season low):

Quote:
Happy Endings recovered sharply from last week, up 17% to a 2.1 rating.

Bodes well for HE.

That's great! Very encouraging. I thought for sure it was going to do poorly without new episodes of Modern Family last night.

Awesome! :D I absolutely love this show. It's hilarious. Penny's drunk Italian last night was HYSTERICAL.

Just watched the last three episodes. This show is really funny! Like, really funny. Surprising. I hope it's renewed and once again paired with Cougar Town because their humor is similar (read: unapologetic goofiness).

The Middle/Better With You/Modern Family/Cougar Town/Happy Endings/Happy Endings... There's nothing after HE... Local news I guess.

Enjoyed tonight's episodes. I personally can't see this show ever really catching on though. If it could get to 6 Million or above that would be great.

Dodging bullets was awesome. And they didn't kill the Cocoon reference by explaining it!

I hate to say this, but I look forward to this and "Cougar Town" more than "Modern Family" at this point.

It's unlikely this show is going to make it. Dropped big this week.

From what I've been hearing this is looking fairly good for renewal. Apparently it has a lot of support at ABC. There just seems to be a lot of positive buzz about it. I think they'll give it another shot.
