*runs away from Libs and her machette* It has been getting great word of mouth around where I live. Same here. It has been getting GREAT word of mouth. Among who, neighborhood toddlers and people with Awful Taste Syndrome? It was sold-out at my theater last night for a 7:30 showing. Um, okay. What's your point? How is that a response to my (joking) question?
I am just saying that it sold out over A MONTH after it was opened and 3 other kids movies were released. It is having good WOM. That is all I am saying.

It's not that hard for a children's movie to sell out on a Saturday night if it has a small theater.

Also, Because of Winn-Dixie had 50% at its 6:20 showing which was right before Are We There Yet?'s 6:30 sell out. Son of the Mask had about 40% at its 6:50 showing.

How do you know all of this? Did you ask the ticket guy or just go into every theatre there for a half hour?

White Noise left theaters on Thursday, so you can mark 2.32 as its final multiplier.

That is really low for that film. Dissapointing considering its phenomonal debut ($10,000 PTA).

About what I would expect for the average horror film in January, but disappointing considering its second week hold.
Hide and Seek, Constantine, and Cursed will all have similar multipliers. Boogeyman will be slightly higher only because of the Super Bowl.

Well, to be fair, it's second weekend was MLK weekend.

Yeah, in the third week it faced the snowstorm, and following that it quickly lost its theaters. So, it's hardly suprising it dropped off quickly after the second weekend.

It's not hard for me to see why Are We There Yet? is doing so well. It's a fun and charming movie in a really weird, hard to describe sort of way (at least, hard to describe to people who don't know what they're getting into when they're seeing it)

Are We There Yet? looks to finish with a around 4.4-4.5. It dropped heavily last weekend and will likely quickly shed its remaining theaters.

Sony probably doesn't care if it sheds theaters since it hass already made more than twice the budget.

It has already become a massive hit and will likely make another $75+ million on DVD so I'm sure Sony is quite happy with it.
Question is will there be an Are We There Yet 2?

I doubt it. But, due to its success it is a small possibility.

Pooh's Heffalump Movie has an absolute terrible multiplier considering the multipliers for the other Pooh films (around 5+).

Yeah. This Pooh movie is having a bad multiplier compared to the other Pooh films. This will be the first Pooh film not to hit $20m.
