Monique isn't losing the Oscar. That's impressive.

How about these 4 actresses talking about Nine. Do you think they are embarassed for having to keep talking about that flop? It must be embarassing to some degree to know how poorly the film has done. Luckily they'll be saved that pain when Oscars are announced.

If you missed the last scene of a QT film you need to never watch another one.

Even though Basterds probably deserves it more, I am rooting for The Hurt Locker to win Best Ensemblke. It'd mean that it still has the strength to upset Avatar.

Voters must really love Jeff Bridges in that film. Poor Clooney.

Poor Streep. She's too good to give awards to now.

Go Bullock!

Bridges' Oscar is locked up and Up in the Air's chances at BP are completely killed now.

At least Bullock and Streep look to have a nice neck-to-neck race now.

So does each cast member of IB get an award or is it just one representing them all?

Last post not to hijack this thread. Watched it, just forgot it. Saw it as a Midnight Movie and was tired.

Ensemble went to Basterds....expected and won't help the film much anyway.

Maybe, but Bullock has the momentum!

All four acting awards look locked to me, yes, even including Best Actress. The momentum Bullock has is simply too big.

Bullock seems now to be the heavy runner for Oscars.

Bridges seems to be now a lock. No doubts and surprises for Mo'nique and Waltz.

According to Ensemble I think so IB was better than Hurt Locker. This defeat though means that Hurt Locker can have some split vote with IB for picture which is another good news or Avatar.

Surprise win for Star Trek though for Stunt Ensemble but great it might help it get that nomination :)

Golden Globes Part II

Betty White was the highlight as was Bullock.

Great win for IB. This means it will get a nice push from the actors branch (in the last 10 years, BP and Ensemble matched 7 times). Hopefully it can pull a dark horse win in the BP. All this Avatar and The Hurt Locker talk is just too boring. There won't be any fun if either of them are called out on the big night.
