Well it's not!

Why do you like Public Enemies? I mean I even liked Miami Vice a lot but Enemies really wasn't anything special to me...

Oh and if you get a chance somehow, check out The House of the Devil. I didn't love this film but I'm interested in how you'd find it (as it's quite different from most horror films nowadays).

Because it was an interesting and demythologizing take on the gangster genre, complete with Mann's beautiful digital cinematography, explosive shootouts, and Depp's iconic performance.
