Wednesday should stay flat.
Sure films open today but everyone has a holiday today as well

Thanks for the charts guys, they're quality. Interesting seeing the comparison with I Am Legend, which is virtually evidence that Avatar will make more than the 250 million some were predicting.
I Am Legend 5 day total - 91 million
Avatar 5 day total - 109 million
18 million buffer already, and I Am Legend went on to gross 256 million domestically.
High five. That buffer is going to be blown wide open this weekend and next.

All the IMAX's near me are sold out for the night, so I really don't see it dropping more than 5% today.

Avatar has officially become the highest grossing movie to feature a lead character that was either paraplegic or quadriplegic.

High five. That buffer is going to be blown wide open this weekend and next. Moreover, by the weekend after next it will have easily surpassed I Am Legend's entire gross. 256m is not that impressive considering avatar will double that no prob.

Re: The Avatar Prediction | Tracking Thread
$60m+ seems really high for Avatar's 2nd weekend, with Alvin and Holmes stealing some attention. -25% / $58m seems more reasonable.
