Best George Clooney performance to date?
In the light of all the hype surroinding Up in the Air, I thought it'd be interesting to see which are the favorite performances by Clooney here.
I must admit that I'm not a big fan of either of his Oscar-nominated performances, especially Syriana where he wasn't even the best actor in the film (well, I suppose same goes for Clayton).
My vote definitely goes to him as Ulysses Everett McGill in O Brother, where art thou? By far his best turn. Though he was also great in Three Kings and From Dusk Till Dawn.

No wonder I don't care about Clooney. I've only seen one of his films.

Oh Brother Out of Sight Three Kings Oceans 11
In that order I think - but definitely agree on Oh Brother being his best. He and Soderbergh and also the Coen Brothers just seem to lose something around the early part of this decade and never got their mojo back fully. To my taste anyway.

O Brother, but his performance in Burn After Reading is pretty fucking hilarious, too.

Heh, no votes for his only Oscar-winning role.

I haven't seen syriana I really like him in O Brother but I thought he was tremendous in the flawed but ambitious Michael Clayton.
