I wish I could be extremely excited about FRIDAY THE 13TH being a big hit, and I'm glad it did well because it's a horror movie, but it's really not that deserving. Why even bother updating a franchise if you're going to offer nothing new or exciting? The movie was surprisingly dull. Not bad, but nothing special and not great like it should have been. A sequel would likely make 45-60 Million total, and that's if it was lucky.

Good job Zing, You called it. I'm glad I joined this club, since my shopaholic club is almost definitely going to fail.

Exactly. If they don't know how to behave, and feel OK offending others, they get their ass kicked, so they'll think next time before opening their rotten mouths.

But I kept telling ya that only a $20 million opening day would make it possible and not even a Valentine Day support will help to offset the gimmick effect of the first day rush.

Man, brutal drops. The audience is dropping like Jason's victims. I'm so far off my predicting game at the moment it's not even funny.
