If you find a movie "fun", it's because its art is doing something correctly. It's up to you to identify what/how that is.

Re: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button I think Munky got it right in his review, saying it tried to be a lot of things. Where it tried the most was to be this emotional wallop of an epic film, but it just failed in that aspect. And without that, in retrospect, its become very bland for me.
