:funny:

I tried this approach once. I found myself smoking after such amazingly special occasions like eating, watching a movie, watching TV, listening to a really good song, showering, using the restroom, masturbating, getting depressed, hearing a great joke, getting excited for the day, driving in a car, walking around town, and having a conversation. Great success!...

Right? For awhile I held onto smoking only while drinking and during finals. But then, I drink almost every night...except for during finals...so that didn't go too well.

Well. Hopefully to be more satisfied in my next teaching position...

I guess I didn't tell anyone about this on the forums, but I'm not working this school year because I was extremely unsatisfied and displeased with the administration at the school I was working at. Another school offered me a position for next year, though.

1. Read more.
2. Be a hell of a lot more physically active (hit the gym).
3. Be more selective about what I eat (I'm thinking of starting by cutting out soda completely).
4. Be less nosy.
5. Do well on the LSAT.
6. Decide where I want to go to law school.
7. Get better about not procrastinating.
8. See personal projects through to the end.
9. Play my violin a lot more.
10. Learn and finish some big pieces on piano.
11. Get a girlfriend.

Already pretty much there on #11. :D

I've been told by 3 people in the last week that I always think I'm right and I know I do, but I guess I have to lay off of it, or at times I guess I'm a bit suffocating with my self-righteousness lolol. I dont know but it's something i have to work on I guess.

I was doing great with the only-smoking-while-drinking rule until I noticed that my mouthwash had alcohol in it. Then I was smoking all the time (but my teeth sparkled like pearls).

1. Go to Miami and Orlando (for real now!)
2. Finally go on a trip with my friends that we've been planning for the last 5 years (either now or never)
3. Watch even more older movies (that'll probably be the goal for the rest of my life)
4. Get the best grades possible in my exams
5. Spend less money (kinda contradicts #1 and #2, though)

I guess I would ask where is the line between trying to be right for the right reasons and for the wrong? Thinking you're right doesn't necessarily make you self-righteous. Trying to find truth doesn't. :P ;) I think it's a matter of trying to be honest with yourself. I think that's in the end for you to decide within yourself.

:funny:

Procrastination has the advantage of letting your thoughts naturally organize themselves. I think the others could be helped by the right moment (of inspiration :P ), depending on how you look at it.

I've never smoked and don't plan to because that would mean that I couldn't say anymore that I have never smoked. Some people might fight it difficult to believe that. But even if I had ever smoked they couldn't prove it.

But I've never wanted to smoke. I don't like the thought of smoke in my lungs.

I didn't say that's the only thing I do. :P ;) :funny:

But, you are right, your statement is very true.

EDIT: No, that is searching for a truth in a sense since I'm trying to discover how people react to someone having never smoked...

That's my answer anyway. :P
