Re: Saturday Night Live 2008/2009 season
Hahah I loved tonight's episode, Paul Rudd is my king.
And Justin Timberlake! And Beyonce!
My favorite was the Single Ladies video sketch heh

Re: Saturday Night Live 2008/2009 season
Rudd for the most part was wasted. There were a few good sketches (the first one, the car ride, the Digital Short, and the backup dancers one with Beyonce), but the rest of the show wasn't very good.

Re: Saturday Night Live 2008/2009 season
I am SOOOOOOOOOOO pissed I missed it last night. And for what? Slumdog Millionaire? I think my brother's trying to find the whole episode. So far I've seen the Kissing Family, Beyonce Back-up Dancers, and SNL digital short. I need more Rudd.

The back up dancers skit and the kissing family was hilarious. Weekend update was good to. "Were the dancers"

Last night's episode was so random. In a good way, I suppose. John Malkovich is such an oddball.
My favorite sketch was the one where Kristen Wiig was the "sexy girl." She was hysterical.

Finally watched the entire Paul Rudd episode.
No words...
Best episode I've seen.

Re: Saturday Night Live 2008/2009 season
If one of the male castmembers leaves after this year Jorma Taccone needs to be promoted. And to think, there was once a time where it was racy on this show to say the word penis multiple times. As for the rest of the show I thought it was pretty decent. I actually thought though that for maybe the first time ever that the monologue was better than the rest of the show. Malkovich being creepy with kids = gold.

Re: Saturday Night Live 2008/2009 season
a really meh episode. I am not a fan of kanye and haven't even heard his new songs but I just fell in love with the first one he performed and maybe the second too.
I'm trying to remember if there was a particularly funny sketch. Can't think now.

Whoever wrote that Today Show sketch should be fired immediately.

I think I'll be watching that Digital Short a few dozen times on Hulu.

Not much after the Short has been though. Unless the last sketch winds up being an absolute gem this is going to go down as a missed opportunity. The writing has just been incredibly lazy which is odd considering they've had four weeks to come up with ideas. And someone needs to kick Taylor Swift in the face.

Re: Saturday Night Live 2008/2009 season
The January 17th episode was surely the best whole episode all season so far!
Rosario Dawson is a total cutey who excels at comedy - - she made all the lower profile sketches shine - - she is a very talented woman.
With Steve Martin being the next host, maybe every show in 2009 will get better and better...

They really botched up that View segment. They're normally hilarious; but yesterday's was a bit mediocre.
