Re: The Haunting of Molly Hartley
It's not a great movie at all, but it's far better than the horrific reviews would suggest. For the most part it's pretty entertaining, though the final act becomes pretty ridiculous and hard to take. It works better when it plays out as a straight teen flick than a supernatural horror film. Shannon Woodward is the only one worth noting in terms of performances, her character was easily the most interesting and I was disappointed she wasn't featured more. C

I thought Haley Bennett did an okay job in the lead. Crawford wasn't horrible either although his character didn't always make sense. The ending is a mess. I'll probably get the DVD when it comes out.

She was the "rebel friend" character who really got no closure at the end.

C I liked her. I wonder what the hell happened to her character in the end . THE HAUNTING OF MOLLY HARTLEY - 7/10 (B-)Predictable, but entertaining. I'd like a sequel. The ending wasn't that satisfying.

D-
This was incredibly lame, even by the Hollywood PG-13 watered down horror standards. There was, like, one creepy scene. Haley Bennet was wholly unconvincing which is to bad since I atcually liked her in Kaboom and Music & Lyrics. The whole movie also looks so damn....cheap. Like it was some self-made flick for $5,000 instead of a studio produciton. It's really bad.

Did you tape it from Pro7, Lecter?

Have "fun".
Nope, I have actually seen it a few months ago. Switched on Pro7 a couple of nights ago and aww it was on...so I did my best to switch the channel again as quick as humanly possible.
But tell me about Kill Theory when you see it.
