Hollywood.com posted this funny but somewhat true article about why they hate TV. http://www.hollywood.com/feature/Things ... TV/5344744

Those are pretty much right on the money, especially the first one. And I didn't even know MadTV was still on the air. I would've liked to have seen a full write-up on MTV though like the writer was hinting at. That network is pretty much singlehandedly what's wrong with TV today.

Jmart007, what do you think of VH1 vs. what you think of MTV?

Re: Things I hate about TV
I don't think much of either network, although I'd give the slight edge to VH1 because I like their "I Love 70s-90s, etc." talking head shows, except for the last one which was kind of awful. Those select shows and Pop Up Video are the only shows (that I can recall) I've watched on VH1.
MTV on the other hand I used to watch off and on. For a time I liked The Tom Green Show and The Real World/Road Rules Challenge. The VMA's and the movie awards were at one point also enjoyable when no one gave a damn. And I also liked that the network tended to care about music.
Then the network (like VH1) dropped the music and began to cater to fourteen year old girls and reality show junkies. I'm neither (at last check) so they lost me completely. As I said before though, I'd give VH1 the slight edge because I've at least tuned into their network on occasion within the last five or six years.
