Damn straight, Tony. Most of the trolls hated to post, because they knew we were lurking in the shadows, ready to strike!! Sometimes the men even wanted us, which explains that lonely night... :-$

You guys are funny
I just hope "Elektra" does well for Jennifer. Its not a big budget production, and it was shot pretty quickly to accomodate Jennifers tight schedule. So a modest hit a la "13 Going on 30" would be good enough for me.
Im also very interested in her forthcoming oscary project "Catch and Release" by the writers of Erin Brokovich about a widowed woman who discovers secrets of her husbands life.
Desperate Housewives meets Nancy Drew!

Since Garner can only film one project a year, it will probobly film through 2005 and come out late 2006 to optimise the oscar period.

At least when Angelina Jolie did Tomb Raider she was convincing in the role, and her body was amazingly toned. Jennifer Garner just looked ridiculous in Elektra. I like Jennifer Garner, and I think Alias is a great show, but I think she is very overrated, especially at this message board.
Watch Alias, all the way through, every episode, and come back here and tell us if you still think the same.

I have watched all three seasons entirely, and I still think she is overrated. She's a good actress, but still she's overrated.

I have to agree with DK. How can you say she's overrated after seeing all those episodes of Alias?

To be honest, i find it odd that ANYONE who watches Alias could possibly claim Garner as over-rated so much as to create a thread about it, since Alias is a show that is so much about her.
I mean, if I thought the central focus of a series was over-rated i wouldnt watch it.....

I like Alias, but I think that's more in spite of her involvement than anything else.
I doubt you could resist a man like Jennifer Garner, Snrub [-X =; [-(
He just oozes masculinity.

Her 2 minute cameo in Catch Me If You Can is the best thing I've seen her do.
She might have potential, with better scripts, directors and a meaty role. I don't necessarily think she's a horrible actress, it's just maybe the projects she's attached to.
I've seen all her movies (except the unreleased one).

What are you guys 37 year old gossip magazine hoarders? Because i dont know any other group who can bitch about celebrities quite like some in the box office community can. We need stop spending so much time laughing at tastes that may not be in line with our own, and start being open minded to other peoples opinions and preferences and voicing opinions that actually matter instead of cheap jibes at people we dont know to make other people we dont know like us.
/end rant.

Andaroo, i wasn't referring to you - i was more referring to the whole "Shes a man" thing. I just don't see the point in comments like that which happen for every film and actor/actress. Just take a wonder over to the Bill Murray thread, theres a big old slate of people stoning him too. Its all a tad immature imo.

Be easier on your nerves; they won't sustain the pressure you're putting them under.

You'd be too. We haven't tested you yet.
Anyways, how can anyone be serious about this topic? Lol, as if Garner gives a crap.

Then don't respond to people.
It is immature to attack people, but the next best thing is not to whine about people attacking people and trying to set them up as elitists. Try to find the people in the topic who want to have a good conversation and then build on that. We take it from BKB only because one day it will turn on him and there will be an epic amount of comedy generated from the act which will sustain us until he comes crawling back
That said, I still think Catch Me If You Can is her best performance. And it's a good cameo too. She makes a memerable impact, I can actually remember more lines of dialog from that scene than 13 Going on 30 as a whole.
