Now that it's "summer" and most shows are on hiatus until the fall, what do you guys think I should do with some of the stickies?

Obviously, threads like The Apprentice can be done away with because they're reality shows, but some people may discover repeats and want to discuss shows over the summer.

What do you guys think?

I think that you should unsticky all the shows, and if they prove to be popular enough to sticky again because people are discussing them a lot during reruns, you'll know by the amount of times you see it at the top of the page and you can make a decision to resticky it then.

Unsticky them. If there's enough interest for discussion in certain shows, then I guess you can sticky those.

Unsticky them but I suggest editing the titles to be like Lost - Season 1, Desperate Housewives - Season 1. That might be too much to ask, I have no idea but it's something to consider so that later when people dig up threads they can easily know what they found.

Yeah, that was my intention.

When the new seasons start, new threads will be created for the various shows. Considering American Idol got up to 51 pages in one season, we don't want one thread for the show. It will just be too enormous.

I like this idea. Re-name the threads with the show name and the season number. Then when the new season starts in the fall create a new thread with the new season number.

Well, some people suggesting stickying the most discussed threads is kinda pointless as they are going to be on the first or second page anyway if they're being constantly discussed.

But I fully agree about the renaming idea, giving each series its season number.

Here is what I think you should do:

Make and sticky a thread labeled 2004-2005 TV Season Shows.
In it, you will have links to all the old stickied shows and if anyone wants to discuss the show, they go to that thread and link to the original thread for the shwo they want and it will be bumped up once they post.
