It is a bummer that Watchmen did not submit for Best Drama since it would have been a heavy favorite and deserving winner, especially in these times. Good for Mando though, even though it will likely lose to Succession. Also happy to see Shadows make it into Best Comedy.

Also, I can't seem to find the nominees for Best Animated program. If Harley missed then we riot until the Gestapo come for us.

Post Re: Emmys 2020
On the minor plus side, the Emmys went all in on Schitt's Creek for its final season. Crazy random how they threw the show so much love in the last two seasons. Well deserved but so very random. Reminds me of when they realized The Americans was a thing.

Super unexpected and deserving nod for Zendaya too. A sometimes-excellent, sometimes-painful series propelled by her performance.

Season 5 of BCS is easily the best season that show has to offer and it confuses the hell out of me that neither Rhea Seehorn or Tony Dalton got any Emmy recognition considering those two completely dominated the season. I am glad that Mando, Watchmen, Ozark are getting plenty of love though as well as What We Do In the Shadows and The Handmaid’s Tale.

No Harley. Blah. Rick and Morty and Bojack are good choices though. They sure do love The Simposons and Bob’s Burgers. Have never seen Big Mouth.

I'm so happy with the nominations. LOVE the Schitt's Creek love, the Zendaya nomination, and the Paul Mescal nomination (would have liked to see more love for Normal People but I'm at least glad his performance was recognized).

The Good Place or Schitt’s Creek should win for comedy.

Anyone that watches BCS generally agrees that Season 5, the show is firing on all cylinders and propelling towards its conclusion. Much in the same way Breaking Bad inexplicably didn't win until Season 5, I thought this was the year BCS would clean up. Now I think the show will probably go winless for its entire run, which is a huge travesty. Maybe voters aren't as invested with the progression of the show and its characters. I don't really get it. I feel like the show won't even get nominated for its last season now.

The goddamn star didn't get nominated. He and Jonathan Banks were fantastic in one particular episode. I love Giancarlo Esposito as Gus, and he did have one particularly fantastic scene this season, but he wasn't the best the series had this season for acting. If anything, Banks was nominated for lesser work on the show.

Just baffles my mind.

That was a purely Breaking Bad episode, and I'd even argue they outdid Breaking Bad with that one.

So happy that Schitt's Creek won so much but they should have given some to The Good Place as well.

That was expected after last year given that Watchmen wasn't competing with it.

I don't really know what. I for sure don't think The Good Place has it beat in any of the acting categories they competed in.

This was the best Emmys ever with these wins. Schitt's Creek is one of my favorite shows. I did not think Eugene or Annie would win but did think Catherine and Dan would. So what a pleasant surprise when Eugene was announced. I was so happy. He and O'Hara are national treasures. Then even with all of the wins I still wasn't thinking Annie would get it going into the supporting actress category. I was certainly more hopeful but overall it was a surprise.

Such well-deserved wins. I hope even more people discover this wonderful show now.

Also awesome to see Zendaya win. That was another nice surprise.

Zendaya was good but I don't think it was an Emmy winning performance. Laura Linney should have won for Ozark. I don't want to sound racist but she was the only black nominee in that category this year.
