I really want to watch The Stranger but will just download it from somewhere when the whole thing is available. I don't really like the "quick bites" format or watching things on my phone save for movie trailers.

"The Stranger" was great. Easily the best I've seen from the service.

Same here.

The Stranger does look good though.

They posted the first 'episode' of The Stranger on YouTube.

It's too bad The Stranger is over because there's nothing drawing me to this app anymore after having a few solid shows out of the gate. Dummy is awful despite Anna Kendrick and none of the new things they are launching interest me.

I like Dummy, but agree that there isn’t much else left. Blackballed might be able to capitalize on the popularity of Last Dance though.

You can now AirPlay their content on Apple devices as of this morning.

That is cool, but they don't have anymore shows to watch. :funny:

I finally finished "Dummy" which was a complete dumpster fire.

Seems like they are holding their next wave of shows until after the initial free trials expire. Can’t blame em, but it won’t work. This is gonna go from ~$4M subscribers to about 4 total. Its probably a buy for Apple somewhere down the line to beef up their own original content list.

Yeah Quibi could not have commenced at a worse time (during Corona) and they've certainly let that be known. Not a great start.

Quibi is dead! RIP Quibi!

They said only 72,000 people stayed after the free trial. :hahaha:

Released at the worst possible time, but even people like me that gave it a shot found nothing worth paying for.

I heard that 92% people moved away from subscription a few months back. That ought to be the trigger

I had no interest in watching shows on my phone.

Legitimately the only things I'd say were "good" were The Stranger and Nikki Fre$h.

Most Dangerous Game was kind of fun. The rest was a dumpster fire.

Still stand by this. This could have been a neat idea in 2012 that probably would have only lasted a few years before either transforming into something else or dying out the same way.

It was launched free here so I have it but have only watched one episode. I guess I should watch more before it shuts down.

I wonder if Quibi's shows being impossible to torrent hurt it more than it helped it. You might be better off just having as many people seeing them and talking about them as you can.

Eh I don't think people who torrent everything would be talking about these shows too much.
