Greatest Jeopardy player of all time in the making? I'm gonna have to start watching all his episodes. He is super aggressive on daily doubles which could backfire at some point though

That guy had 100k win games? Those must have been some serious true daily doubles or something. Damn.

Yea he's a professional gambler who's strategy is to get as much money as he can before finding daily doubles (choosing the bottom clues first) and then making huge bets. It wouldn't work obviously unless he's money though.

I saw a clip of him on a British game show The Chase and he's unstoppable

I finally watched that whole clip of him on that Beast show and it was hilarious. Almost torture for the beast who had to get 26 answers in 2 minutes. I don't think she can even read that many questions in 2 minutes. Anyway it was torture for him being at 1 then going to 0. 1 and then 0. The beast needs 18 in 44 seconds. Lol.

He's closing in on the top $$$ but I doubt he'll break the # of wins. It's quite embarrassing for most of his opponents. The last episode I actually watched he had 35k while his opponents had about 4k each.

I also think the most logical result is he makes more money than Ken but falls short of his games record as Ken's strategy favored staying alive more. I think his downfall will be that people will start copying his daily double strategy to give themselves a chance, right now because of the taping schedule I believe most of his opponents don't really know as much about him. Someone who doubles up twice on the daily double can post a solid number, plus it will be eliminating James chance to use them.

Spoiler: show
Some pretty convincing screenshots going around that he loses next episode. Since it's the weekend if true I have to think everyone will know by Monday like when Ken Jennings loss was leaked

I love how people are claiming he lost on purpose. I don't think James is good on Shakespeare. There was another episode with that category and I don't think he buzzed in at all.
He was betting on Emma answering wrong, which was really his only chance.

He played well like normal but not much he could do with a strong opponent who gets both double jeopardy daily doubles and she bet everything on the first one since she knew she was facing a juggernaut. The 3rd guy being good too was also a factor.

It was a perfect bet by him. She was going to bet enough to cover him, so she had to get it wrong for him to have any chance, and this way even if they both got it wrong he was going to win. The small bet also guaranteed the 3rd guy couldn't catch him.
