I'll add Making a Murderer season 2 to my mini list on page 1.

Need to make a "What shows have you seen in 2019" thread cause I can never remember by years end time lol. Based on memory..

1. Barry
2. Bojack Horseman
3. The Venture Bros
4. The Good Place
5. The Haunting Of Hill House
6. Archer
7. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
8. Glow
9. Castlevania
10. A Series Of Unfortunate Events

PromIsing:

Dragon Prince
Disenchantment

Disappointing:

Runaways
Westworld
Jessica Jones

And I'll give South Park a mention for making its best episode in years with "Let's Get Cereal" featuring the return of ManBearPig.
Adding Runaways to the disappointing list. Very uneven season. At first it was a real slow burn, more intent on resetting the relationships from season 1 then moving forward. Then, mid-season, it just started to burn through plot like there was no tomorrow. People are introduced and elevated to the role of main villian in a single episode. It’s almost like they weren’t sure if a season 3 was happening due to Disney’s new platform. The last episode kind of saved the whole season though, very exciting and I guess they got the greenlight for season 3 since it ends on a hell of a cliffhanger.

I really want to see Escape at Dannemora too, but I'm waiting until all the episodes are out, so I can binge all at once.

They're now all out so binge away.

I finally finished it today and yeah I really enjoyed it. Fantastic performances from Dano, Del Toro and Arquette. Stiller absolutely killed with the directing in this show as well. So many superbly done shots, especially all the different camera angles in the later episodes. Never knew he had those kind of skills in him.

I started watching it yesterday, very engaging, look forward to see how it develops.

So yeah, Escape at Dannemora is a great show, Dil says it right. Loved the episode 6 also, great to offer the context of their past after we've established their characters. These 7.5 hours flew by.

Added Attack On Titan season 3. The first season is so epic and all, but I think this might have been the best one yet in terms of storytelling. It was much easier to keep track of what was going on without all the "this person is actually a titan" twists or watching 5-6 characters get eaten per episode. Season 1's theme song is still the best and I wish they'd bring it back- even though I know anime doesn't work like that.

Barry has definitely piqued my interest after hearing so much great stuff about it. Going to binge that one next.

Just watched Barry, pretty good show, Hader is excellent but he's also got a really nice cast around him. Enjoyed it a lot, and especially how it's equally funny yet brutal is pretty impressive. Look forward to S2.

Homecoming is so good that I don’t even mind half of it being filmed on a phone (though this trend really needs to die.) Anyone who likes old school spy thrillers needs to check it out.

Oh and I 100% support half-hour dramas. The pacing is incredible.

Yeah I really enjoyed it as well, and I was also surprised quite a bit by how violent it got at points. The gritty action sequences were really well done though, and Bill Hader is just awesome throughout. I loved the dude who played Hank too lol. Really looking forward to Season 2.

Yeah agreed 100%. The fact that each episode was only like a half hour long really helped the pacing of it, and I didn't even mind how it was filmed either. Loved the atmosphere and feel of that show and yeah its definitely in the vein of some of those really old school spy thrillers.

Been curious about that one even though I don't know many people that have actually seen it. I'll definitely give it a look one day though.
