Post Dark (Netflix)
Has anyone watched season 2?

Thought season 1 was one of the highest-quality TV productions, period, but still haven't gotten around to the next season yet.

Only thing is, why is the default Netflix setting always dubbed English audio? It's completely fucked in the head; literally turns the actors into demented spastics. The tone of the show when watched in German is way more grounded, has that ultra-realistic-drama quality of Indie-filmmaking Europe; but maybe the best thing going for it is the slow burning mythology that gradually unfolds---elements from several genres mixed together, with way more complexity and nuance than can be found in US productions. Would say that includes the new wave, too.

Anyone else watch it?

I have seen it. its very good. its really twisted with multiple versions of same character traveling across time zones. Season 2 is even more ambitious as we are seeing story lines from 1920 to 2052. Some of the twists were outrageous
Spoiler: show
like charlotte is Elizabeth's daugher and also her mother !!!
. it has its own logic for time paradox different from other movies on time travel. But it all gelled well together. Actors are all good. I binge watched 2 seasons over 2 weekends.

Love how noir-ish and subtly it portrays all the sci fi elements. Never seen that kind of atmosphere in a TV show before - maybe Chris Carter's Millenium runs a similar vein tone-wise, but that's more like the catholic-CSI type; Dark's mythology shades several fully realised genres put together. Good to hear it keeps getting better, cheers.
