It doesn't look like Grey's Anatomy is losing any viewers. It seems like the same number every week, unless I'm mistaken, which I am most of the time.

It's even with last week, which was up from the pilot.

I almost wasn't mistaken, and that's an improvement for me.

From tvtracker.com...

Overnights released say that Desperate Housewives earned a 25 million viewership, which is its highest since its hiatus ended, inching closer to its peak at 27 million.
Grey's Anatomy registered with 18.3 million viewers, which is actually an improvement from last week by a few 100k viewers. Then again last week overnights reported GA to have 18 million viewers but the number went just slightly down to high 17 million when actuals came in a day later. So, I'd say it should be on par with last week.

Considering that both LOST and DH increased upon their spectacular debuts, Grey's Anatomy looks like a legitimate hit, even a tad bigger than LOST because it's following in the same steps.

The 24 repeat only garnered around 2 some million viewers. Why they decided to repeat an episode on Sunday is beyond my analysis, but they sure didn't benefit from it, it brought them down even lower.

Way to go Grey's Anatomy! :D

How small is the first season? Only a few episodes remain, I'm guessing?

Well, if they had planned to continue the rest of the season on Mondays then I think the late-season premiere would have only provided it with around 7 or so episodes.
IF they weren't planning on continuing it it after the first 5 episodes for this season, I think they have changed their minds. And since it started in a time when it should be nothing but new episodes for most shows (for sweeps and building up to finales) it could raise the episode number to maybe 9 by season's end since Boston Legal won't be returning.

Apparently it is continuing in the Sunday slot through the end of the season and Boston Legal's remaining episodes will run at the beginning of next season for a total of 27 episodes next season.

That's not horrible retention for Arrested Development, either. The Simpsons is just slipping, and slipping fast. I'm glad I'm not the only one who keeps forgetting it's on anymore.
