I've only watched the first two episodes so far too. Not gonna say too much but I'm a tad disappointed that they're doing the one-character centric episodes like they said they would, hope the ones later in the season have them all together. The first 2 episodes were just okay imo but it's nice to have it back.

On episode 10 currently.

The first Lucille centric episode.... btw, episodes 8 and 9 are just too much to andle, I hope this one can live up to the Lucille character.

BTW you need to watch till like episode 6 for things to make sense, afer episode 6 it becomes a fucking blast.

.............................. GREAT SEASON
it took me nearly 15 hours but i did it. Great great great season, shaky at the begining but after episode 6 everything starts to make sense and it just doesn't stop (till the Buster centric episode (14th) where i think it loses some its charm) till the great season finale putting everything from everyy possible point of view. My only complain is that... THEY END IT ON A FUCKING CLIFFHANGER.

FUCK THEM. FUCK FUCK FUCK.

My favrite episode has to be the last Lindsay centric episode.

Really? It doesn't make sense until like 6 episodes in?

I didn't know they were doing episodes focused on each individual character. That kind of sucks.

Well apparently there is a way that you can stop one episode, and start up another to make the whole thing go as one.

Not enough episodes! I want more! A+ for what was done though. The whole thing was a blast to watch. Bring on the movie and season 12.

Just finished. The last few episodes were absolutely hysterical. I feel like this season is only going to grow with repeat viewings as I'm sure there's a lot I missed.

I'm on episode 8, taking me awhile too... I'm still not crazy about these episodes. I laugh a few times and the connections between the episodes are amusing but I dunno.

These episodes show that some characters can hold an episode about themselves (Gob, Lindsay, and I guess Michael) and some not so much... (George Sr. and Tobias ugh)

and waht episode was your favorite?

I can't really decide between the last Lindsay, Tobias or the only Lucille one.

When they show how Lucille took ove the clan, it was epic. lol

I'm dying at episode 7 ("Colony Collapse," or Gob's episode). Best one so far.

Her?

I'm 10 episodes in so far. I can't really complain, as I think they went for the ultimate excuse that the show is not what it used to be, because it's not. They changed the format completely that while it's still funny, as are these characters, they just don't work nearly as well on their own, then as they did together.

This was the ultimate dysfunctional family show, and all based on characters. The main rule of character acting is you never stay on one for too long. Just the few scenes where Michael is with Tobias and Ron Howard, or Gob interacting with the others are the main highlights so far. The show is definitely intended for a netflix audience, as I think it would work best to watch all 15 episodes like immediately, but for those that are pacing themselves, the single storyline for each character over multiple years is just a little too confusing at times, and the payoff of where they overlap is almost too predictable at times.

That said, there have been a lot of laugh out loud moments for me, and the characters are still great, I just would have preferred each episode to feature everyone like before, the small stories in each time period would work much better IMO. And I agree, George Sr. episodes have been the worst, which has less to do with the episodes (I love the new characters from his the most) but George Sr's weird decline into womanhood is just kind of one note, and definitely not needed of 2 episodes.

OMG this is great. Not really a spoiler but I'll put it in tags just in case.

Spoiler: show
George Maharis Arrested in Men's Room", Gay Scene, December 1974: "Famous Hollywood actor George Maharis was arrested November 21 and charged with committing a sex act with a hairdresser in the men's room of a gas station in Los Angeles... He was booked on a sex perversion charge along with Perfecto Telles, 33, the hairdresser, and released on $500 bail, according to police." An earlier guilty plea for a Hollywood lewd conduct arrest on 15 December 1967 with a male is also documented
:hahaha: Of all the names to choose. I, like everyone else, just thought it was random. AND FREAKIN PERFECTO! That is some deep shit.

I'll concur with whoever said the George Sr. episodes are the worst ones. Jeffrey Tambor is a great actor but I always found the character to be the weak link.

The best episodes were the Lindsay, Gob, and Lucille ones. And of course the finale with George Michael which was just HILARIOUS.
