Well maybe I'm wrong. I read on IMDB that that's the date they said on the Twitter page, but my TV listings have it as the one you said. Apparently though it is supposed to air sometime this summer.

Elisha Cuthbert just said on her Twitter that the unaired episode will be broadcast on August 24th.

Why not just air it in Season Two? Is it really that bad?

I still love the show but some moments are a little forced. I can do without the constant trying to crowbar in new words or phrases (chicksand, gaycist, etc.).

Gaycist rocks :P.

Ha. I was so excited all day Wednesday for a new episode. Was a real treat, even if the episode isn't one of the best, IMO.

Watched two more episodes last night, including the August 24th episode. I still love the show. It's so rough around the edges in spots, but still excellent. Better than many of the crappy sitcoms on the air currently. It deserves a shot. A very likable cast. No one really shines above the rest, they're all solid. Very Friends-esque.

I think Season 2 will improve in quality. It usually takes time for a show to find its groove.

Just saw "Mein Coming Out" episode. That was the best so far. Tight comedy, almost everything got a laugh from me. Perfect example of what this show could potentially become if given the opportunity. I'm afraid it won't catch on in time. But a second season after fairly bad ratings in Season 1 is a big vote of confidence.

The reruns this summer have done fairly solid. It should be able to pull in Cougar Town numbers after Modern Family. The time-slot last season sucked and Cougar Town was a weak lead-in.

ABC Family is having an all-night marathon of every episode this Friday starting at 5PM to promote the season premiere.

I saw a couple episodes of this last season and liked it. Tonight's premiere was the same. It is a very funny, down to earth show that now I just need to remember to watch every week.

Really liked the season premiere. Great to have this show back. I just hope its ratings see a good uptick. Obviously it will increase due to being after Modern Family, but we'll have to see how much. Would LOVE to see over 7 Million viewers.

Premiere was HILARIOUS. I was laughing so hard I was in tears during the scene where Penny goes home to the cats :P

Funny premiere. I really hope this builds an audience this season.

Premiere was so funny, love this show. Kind of nervous for the ratings tomorrow, even with the best possible lead-in...

Yes, that scene had me cracking up. Probably the best part of the entire episode.

No need to be nervous. It did over 10% better than Cougar Town in the same spot last year. :D

To be fair, you're comparing that to when Cougar Town had a smaller Modern Family lead-in than what Happy Endings had last night.

That is true. Why do you need to burst my bubble? :P I'm still pleased with the ratings and believe ABC is too and that they'll stick with it since they like the show and it does have a following, however small it may be right now.

I agree with you, just pointing out that your Cougar Town comparison shouldn't be the barometer.

This is my favorite comedy on TV right now. I look forward to it week-to-week more than just about every other show. Last night's episode = perfection.

The cast has perfect chemistry. It really is oddly reminiscent of Friends in that there are six characters with equal screen time and none of them especially overshadow the rest.
