Yeah. The best two episodes so far... But I'm still not high on this show. It's still a fairly pedestrian plot that's just executed well.

I will actually be kind of heartbroken if ABC cancels this. It's absolutely phenomenal and has so much potential.

All ABC comedies except Happy Endings saw an increase last night. Happy Endings stayed flat. Better With You saw the best increase. 19% jump.

BWY also aired its final episode. That "might" have given it a slightly bigger bump.

Hoping Happy Endings gets a renewal bone. It's been consistently funny, and I think it only has room to improve. The cast clicks very well, although I still find Zachary Knighton (Dave) bland. Luckily it's very much an ensemble show that evenly distributes the storylines among the 6 characters ala Friends.

YES! :D Season two pickup!

You know, it's funny. While Modern Family is a better show I can't help but find myself most looking forward to chilling with Happy Endings on Wednesday nights.

Will they air reruns of this in the summer? If so I wonder what it will air after. They should put it after reruns of Modern Family for the summer.

I can see why they skipped these two episode before. They were more boring than interesting.

Apparently the order for this for the second season is 22 episodes :D

Oh, I wanted to ask wasn't the guy Penny was into in the first episode (the one with the ex-wife) the same coffee shop owner Max was courting?????

Nope, the guy Max was courting was Max Greenfield (who recurred memorably on "Veronica Mars"). The guy who was at the cooking class was Michael Rady, who was in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies and the "Melrose Place" reboot.

They look very similar though.

The obviousness of last night's two episodes CLEARLY being aired out of order (what gives, ABC?) kind of detracted from my enjoyment, but they were still pretty funny. I guess it makes sense, though...these episodes were not nearly as good as the following ones were, and I may have not become such a big fan of the show if they were aired in the right order. Glad we'll see this show again next season!

Also, I had no idea Jane and Alex were sisters. Did that get mentioned in any previous episodes? I'm guessing not, since the first episode last night seems like it was intended to be the second or third overall.

No it was not mentioned. I had read on Wikipedia that they were sisters, but since it wasn't mentioned I didn't know if that were true at all.

Wasn't crazy about last night's episodes either. Hopefully on the DVD though these will be in order.

So yeah, the finale was awesome and hilarious and adorable, and I love this show and everyone on it to pieces.

I didn't laugh in the first few episodes but I stuck with it because I kinda liked it. So glad I did because the last few episodes have been golden. The finale was hilarious!

Just like the Modern Family and Cougar Town finales preceding it, the Happy Endings finale was both funny and sweet. Very, very happy it was renewed for a second season.

thefutoncritics has 13 episodes for this season. That means they kept 1 for next season. Hopefully it won't feel off-beat like the two that aired last week.

OK finale. I still don't think this show found its shtick but it's getting there.

I watched Season 1 with a group of friends last weekend and I loved it even more, and they all thought it was hilarious. I am so damn excited for Season 2 and ecstatic that it is airing after Modern Family. Really hope it can at least pull in Cougar Town numbers in the spot. Don't see why it wouldn't. Wish they'd release Season 2 on DVD/Blu-ray before Season 2 starts.

On IMDB everyone is listed as being in 14 episodes. Are they counting the first episode of the next season or something? I wonder if maybe two episodes were pushed back to Season 2.

The Season 2 premiere episode is called "I'll Be There For You." Funny. Obviously they did that on purpose due to the Friends comparisons.

I've watched the first two (production) episodes and I have a confession: I love this show.

Yay. They only get better after the first few, too.

So everyone, the un-aired Season 1 episode will be airing this Wednesday night. Kinda crazy to waste it in the summer, IMO. But I'm excited to get a new episode of this show.

LOL. It seems like ABC can't decide if it likes this show or not.

Source? I haven't heard anything about this - The Futon Critic has it listed as a rerun of "Mein Coming Out," and the official Twitter that the writers use/ none of the stars have said anything about it.
