Libs do you know Cheyenne Jackson will guest star in one of the episodes?

I love SVU, always have. It's the only "procedural crime drama" I can stand.

I watched the pilot (not the extended cut). This show is soooo gay. But I liked it. It's not perfect, but it's fun and has that uplifting feeling.

Episode 3 (?) it seems. Not sure if they're counting the preview/pilot/whatever that was.

Other theater figures to have recurring/guest roles:

Deb Monk
Victor Garber
Kristin Chenoweth
John Lloyd Young

And of course, Matthew Morrison and Lea Michele are also from Broadway.

Variety pretty much disliked completely the first two episodes of the new season, even though they liked the preview pilot.

I watched the extended pilot today. It's a tiny wee bit better. It's only a matter of few longer scenes and the beginning is cut in a different way, but it has a better flow.

Can't wait for the show to start.

Great episode tonight. I love the musical numbers. Lea Michele is terrific, and I adore hottie Matthew Morrison as Will. :wub2:

I don't know what Variety was on, but I liked the second episode much more than the pilot - even though I think the musical choices were a bit weaker (They really did a great take on Don't Stop Believing).

I certainly hope Glee strikes really good ratings today. This really is a great feel good show.

Yeah haha. Maybe Brian Lowry is a curmudgeon.

Not as good as the Pilot. Still rather solid.

7.3 million viewers and 3.4/9 demo (3.7/10 18-34) for Glee. It built from Dance and destroyed America's Got Talent in the demos.

Nice. If it maintains close to 3.0 once the competition kicks in (and there is a LOT), it will be a success.

If it can hang in there till January and a post AI spot it will be fine to be awarded a second season.

Oh yeah, Fox midseason replacements next year (and they have a couple) would hopefully go somewhere else and Glee sticks in this slot.

Surprisingly funny show, not sure if I'll make it a point to watch here on out, but I enjoyed last nights episode.

Question - are the actors the ones actually singing on this?

Yep. I know Lea Michele (Rachel) absolutely is, at least.

I figured she was (since it sounds like her speaking voice), but I wasn't sure about the rest.

Yes, they actually sing.

(I saw the 'tweet-peat' episode... haha).

If anything, as Libs said, Lea Michele does her own singing, as well as Matthew Morrison and Cory Monteith.
