Post subject:  What's your opinion of Drew Carey as Price is Right host?
What do you think of him as the host of The Price is Right?

IMO, he doesn't compare to Barker (but no one does or could) but he's okay. Surprisingly sarcastic at times, heh.

For instance, a dumb college girl who kept on doing this hyena laugh got .80 on her first spin on the wheel. He asked her if she wanted to spin again. She said, "Yes, hehhehe." He said "You sure?" She then changed her mind and he said, "I was just asking her as a formality, you know, for legal reasons. Didn't actually think she'd spin again. You don't spin again on .80. Everyone knows that, or at least I thought they did."

Supposedly though, he's a lot nicer to work for than Barker who was a womanizing jerk according to the models who worked on the show.

"I'm a gameshow host. All I do is explain games all day long. Can't even do that right sometimes." :funny:

Also, what's your favorite game on the show?

I like Plinko because they don't do the baseball one anymore.

doesn't compare (how can you when someone is expecting the same 35 year formula). what i do enjoy is when he is totally honest about his feelings on the prizes sometimes. he can't keep a smirk off his face when a stupid product shows up.

Watching right now. He's been good. He was asking for a bid on a dinette set and said, what do you bid for the set...and Rachel? No...Rachel doesn't come with it. People always ask, "Do the models come with the boat?"

Also, he screwed up on a game so he said, "That was my mistake. I going to give it to him. I can't not do that. It's the thing to do."

Heh, some 80 year-old won a PlayStation 3 :hahaha:
