How surprisingly refreshing that this show was not another blase vapid american serial! Jill Scott is fantastic. I love love love this show. Such charm and tender moments and light happiness. Some of it reminds me of my second home Seychelles too. I really did enjoy it a great deal. If you guys can catch it i'd highly recommend it. Not enough shows are set in Africa. Whenever they are they tend to be doom and gloom epics.

Yes. Exec Produced by Minghella, Richard Curtis and Sydney Pollack and done by the BBC in association with the Weinstein Company. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/page/item/ ... c=ip_potpw for those in the UK i believe you can see the first episode on the BBC.co.uk Iplayer for free now, and download it too. I'll be buying this series on dvd either way.

Cant wait for the 13 part return of this next year. Apparently the show cost $40m to make, it was 1 hour 45 minutes.
