Post subject:  FX Renews Rescue Me for 22-episode 5th Season
Awesome. The show wasn't at its best this year (it was more consistent than anything, even if that may not be a good thing), but it's still great.

Now if only FX would renew Damages for Season 2 and It's Always Sunny... for Season 4, I'd be set.

FX also renewed Nip/Tuck for 22 episodes before it was cut to 13-15, so.

Damages lost a lot of steam over the season, so I'm not sure if they will. Sunny had it's biggest episode ever this season, so I think it should be safe.

(I know this isn't the right thread for this, but I started watching Sunny and it's funny and I laugh though the whole thing, but the whole time I'm sitting there thinking how fucking annoying they all are. But I watch anyway...)

I was actually really disappointed with the season premiere. I feel like the show has lost its edge. It's kinda going over the same storylines over and over now... Janet dating someone new, Colleen dating someone new, Tommy having sex or having sex problems.

I didn't see any developing storylines that piqued my interest. The bar idea sounds kinda lame. I mean there's already a bar there! They were AT THE BAR when they thought of the idea. I'm sure they'll get into deeper issues as the season progresses, but if the next few episodes don't hold my interest I'll just wait for the DVD or once the whole season's over.

It seems like HULU is putting up an episode one week after it airs.
