Was there ever a tv show in your childhood that you pretended to like? But, in reality, you didn't? I felt this way about "The Simpsons." I remember when it was in it's mass popularity -- early 90's. I never really enjoyed the show, but acted like I did because everyone did. I was in grammar school. Anyone else ever done this? Fresh Prince of Belair (sp?) was another. |

Seinfield for a while I'd be like oh ya so good, I never liked it.. BUT then I started to and I really enjoy it now. The Simpsons I prentend to but I don't love it now. |

How can you pretend to like American Idol? That's a show you pretend to dislike. Lost fits this thread perfectly, at least for me. |

I don't think I've ever pretended to like a show. Why would you pretend? To fit in? Seems dangerous to me. Sooner or later, questions will be asked that you can't answer. On the other hand, I always pretend to hate American Idol, but I watch it every season. |
