It's not that I don't love Jayhawk and all his "I say what I'm thinking" mentality (or possibly it's his thing that he does, just for laughs), but. I figured I would post this from last week.

lets all wave good bye to notes from the underbelly.

It's because of American Idol being on from 7-9. That hurt everything. Even America's Next Top Model was unusually low. Next week Underbelly will do better. I wouldn't be surprised if it's over 6 Million again.

6.1 million is over 6!

Jayhawk. You've been nailed!

In other news, that's a fairly solid number for Idol, considering Tuesday's numbers.

In other news, being slightly over 6 million still means Notes of the Underbelly is going to be canceled and is in no way a good number for anything on the big networks.

Good for Lost eh.

CSI: NY has all of a sudden spiraled. Same with NCIS. CM isn't doing great either, though not bad.

I'm so hoping this is the beginning of the end for procedurals. Worst tv trend ever.

CSI: NY is barely beating Lost in viewers, and Lost is crushing it in A18-49. Bwahaha.

By some mysterious fortune CBS is starting to choke in this last stretch with their Wednesday line-up.

Finally, Lost is above 12m. Actuals have raised Lost's overnight viewrship by a few hundred thousand for almost every week since its return, so expect that number to be closer to 12.3-12.5 million.

And ditto on Underbelly being a goner. ABC's network average to date is 9.something million. And this "decent" number for Notes is 3 million below that. Hopefully Jim will be gone also come fall.

When are the networks revealing the fall schedules? Shouldn't it be in like a week or two?

Sure it will be gone, because ABC fucked it over. At least it held on to most of Jim's audience, and it could have done the same after a lot of shows. They should have given it a better lead-in.

Well I read a chart of the top recorded shows (Ie Tivo, etc) about a week ago, and Lost is apparently #2 or #3 on that list, with 2.5 m-3 m viewers or so. Thus, its steep dropoff from earlier this season may not be as steep as it appeared, as more peop[le may have just found it more practical to TIVO when they knew that Lost would be new for the rest of the season...

If people combined TV recordings, TiVos, netwrok streaming episodes, and iTunes... I have no doubt Lost is far and away the top watched show in all those things.
