Seriously, talk about a stupid move premiering a series with no fanbase on a different night with no lead-in. I'll bet King of Queens is benefiting from people changing the channel after DwtS and Final Episodes Tune-in. I wonder high the finale will go. |

The sad part is that Drive actually could've been a hit if it wasn't killed by awful marketing and a premeire on a night without a lead-in. Premeire it after Idol, I bet it gets at the least 13-14 million viewers, and holds onto a 10 mil average. The show isn't Love Monkey or Studio 60, it actually had mass appeal. Fox sucks. The ratings game has always been the most painful thing in the entertainment industry for me. If a great movie or musical cd bombs, the product is still there in its entirety, to you if you watch or listen to it you don't lose anything from poor receipts. But tv... Ratings bomb, and a potentially great piece of tv fiction won't get any chance, there'll be no seeing the future for it. |

you know (sorry to change the topic) Dancing with the Stars, with like 3 hours of prgramming a week, has so much fluff and bloating but I think it's honestly the most entertaining and wholesome reality show/competition on TV now and it deserved every single viewer it gets and even more. I don't watch it regularly but when it's on and I happen to see it, I'm just sucked in because it's entertaining and it's really just alot of fun! It has really taken a very sizeable bite out of Deal or No Deal's audience, NBC's #1 show this season and by the end of the season will have dropped its average down about a million or a bit more. It's also affect the CBS comedies I think. I hope it keeps up with its numbers and starts increasing towards the end like it did in the fall. |

That said, Mondays 9 PM would be as big, if not bigger than Thursdays 9 PM, with Heroes/Dancing/24/King of Queens-2.5 Men |
