Wow, DH is having quite possibly the quietest ratings downfall ever.

EDIT: Heh, I just remembered The Sopranos returned last night. Looks like the tables have turned.

Pretty much. ABC seems to have gone down quite a bit except for DWTS and GA.
Those must be the worst ratings for the Simpsons yet, I know its a repeat but it got beat by Family Guy and barely passed King of the Hill. Im still boggled by the high predictions for the Simpsons movie since no one sure is watching the show. Watch Fox announce that its the last season of the Simpsons just to build up hype for the upcoming movie and then around october time announce Simpsons is returning midseason

I'm sure the Family Guy repeat did well because the audience can't tell a repeat from a new episode anymore.

Lately Family Guy has been having higher ratings than Simpsons. Dont think it bodes that well for the movie especially 3 months away and it should have experienced a boost. Anyhow Im calling it that Without a Trace will beat Desperate Housewives in ratings by next year mid season

I'm pleased with the B&S retention following Housewives' lowest rated episode yet.

Desperate was hurt by: Easter, return of The Sopranos, weird scheduling/promotion on ABC's part

For some reason, ABC has more trouble than the other networks when their shows come back on after a hiatus (wasn't Desperate's last new episode in late February or early March?)

I'm also pleased with Brothers & Sisters' retention, though

I didn't even know there was a new episode of Housewives until it was too late last night, and I wouldn't be surprised if others didn't as well. Couple that in with it being Easter and people were likely preoccupied and you have a big reason why its return from hiatus was so low.

It wasnt so much the fact that DH ratings are down but that Without a Trace is catching up to it. I mean Easter sunday would have hurt WAT most because it skews to a a much older audience that takes the holiday serious and I wouldnt say that DH is like rauncy but the audience for that would hardly just observe Easter sunday by going to church by going back to watching DH. Boy it makes me sound so preachy because of the gospel talking and such

I know that but all Im saying is all the obstacles that you mentioned from Easter sunday to Sopranos does affect Without a Trace but its holding quite well since Sopranos always repeats their episodes from 8-11pm. I could see the point of having it on hiatus hurting it but Easter and Sopranos shouldnt have hurt it so much since Sopranos is predominarly male oriented while DH is a female oriented show.
