Was Desperate Housewives a catch-up episode?

Yeah one of those clip-shows.
I'm sad to learn that Brothers and Sisters is lead-in dependent. I thought it would stay above 10 million at least.

Yeah, it was kinda of a bummer, but it could have been alot worse so I'm not too sad. I bet they will keep it where it is for next season, otherwise it will probably follow in Once and Again's footsteps. ( )

God. If this was Amazing Race 5 (or were they in 4? lol I forgot) yeah, Charla was cooler back then, but now she's just as grating as Mirna.

As long as they don't schedule it around like crazy before making sure it could stand on its own.

Poor B&S. I think the show will be around for a few more years yet. Boston Legal has survived all these years.

B&S is doing a tad lower than what Boston Legal was doing in the Sunday 10pm slot. then again, when Boston Legal was on, Housewives was averaging a couple or 3 million more viewers a week.
I'm surprised B&S hasn't really cought on to the mainstream though. They've had the ENTIRE season streaming at abc.com since January. People can catch up on the whole thing in a day. It's the most acceible new series this year.

Pretty decent for Brothers & Sisters.
9 million isn't much to write home about, but it had almost 100% retention out of the Desperate Housewives clipshow.
Considering there are literally no other shows like it on TV (as in, like, family dramas other than 7th Heaven), I think ABC would be foolish to get rid of it anytime soon. Not to mention the potential Emmy prospects of the show.

The Apprentice's 7th season (which it has already been renewed for) will likely be its last.
