Looks like last night's "Lost" (although quite excellent) is the lowest-rated episode yet. By the end of the season, will the ratings approach the single digits (8-9 million)? Yikes.

I think it's possible. ABC execs deciding to schedule a three-month break and a time slot move for the show was probably the single most dumbest decision they ever made, since it has resulted in half of the original audience deserting "Lost."

'Til Death is beating Lost?? lmao.

Too funny. Kinda pathetic for Lost, too, I have to say.

Peace,
Mike.

Not half. Much of the half that isn't around anymore wasn't around at the beginning of this season, either. But it definitely wasn't a good idea. Considering the series started out in the 8pm hour, I don't know why they didn't move it there when they were trying to escape Idol. I think it would've worked better.

Eventhough Idol is down from Season 5 in recent airings, Season 4 results show (I checked) pulled in 21-23 million at its lowest, so I don't get why some articles are commenting on Idol's "freefall" in the ratings.

Have you heard anything regarding how they're gonna schedule Lost for the next season?

My mom told me she *loved* 'Til Death.

Meh, I guess loving that is better than watching that Dream Vote crapfest? lol

What I've heard is Wednesdays at 8 (yep, back to the mothership time slot) premiering in January, possibly followed by Addison's Anatomy at 9.

Just the rumor about Lost at 8 and Addison spin off at 9. Speaking of Addison, here's a nice little summary of how the pilot will go. Link Can I just say that I hate backdoor pilots? It's a waste of an episode of a show. But I don't watch Grey's anymore, so I guess my opinion is moot.

Ugh, Lost is so good right now. You'd think the WOM would spark some interest again.

I think 10 is just too late for it. If they move it to 8 at run it straight it will pull in better ratings.

It will be reflected in the DVD's for season 3. Alot of people will get back to it that way. Its far too hard to just get back into Lost when you go off the air for 1/3 of the season.
