5th Grader dieing... I think it's clear it's just a really bad show, there's no hook to keep watching. With that marketing push and premeire, I bet Fox wishes they had a game show that was just watchable, can you imagine if Deal or No Deal premeired in that post-Idol slot? It'd be another Millionaire.

Well, at least it won't show up in the top 5 of the season. LEt's hope it gets killed out of the top 10 average as well ;)

something is wrong with abc. I just don't understand it. There is less competition from CBS yet Ugly Betty is way under par and Grey's is perfoming on par with or even worse than when it was up against CSI. :|

Oh, crap. Did I pick Raines as one of my picks for the ratings game? I can't remember, but I sincerely hope not.

And, yeah, I don't get what happened to ABC.

It's the middle of March. Betty and Grey's don't have as much momentum with randomly scheduled new episodes than they would with a consistent string of them in February (when everyone would know there would be a new episode).

This week's Betty was heavily advertised though. I don't know. Not being as high as during sweeps is one thing, but series lows are another and that's where Betty is now (not counting repeats).

By the way, completely sitting out for a weeks has guaranteed CSI the win over Grey's anatomy for the season. Their averages will be within 1m viewers of each other. Repeats was the death of Grey's.

5th grader was lame, it only had big numbers due to the Idol lead in. Plus there have been lots of internet and a few news articles about how fake it is. many people now know the kids are actors and are given workbooks with the questions and answers to study before each taping, not anywhere near as smart as they are made out to be.
