Sheesh, is that another season high for Grey's?

That's the highest number for a regularly scheduled episode of GA ever.

It actually did that a few times when Survivor wasn't on.

Quote: Ugly Betty, with 13.63 million viewers and a 4.5/12 among adults 18-49. The Office (Viewers: 8.83 million; A18-49: 4.4/11).
Ok, that makes me very happy.

Grey's and CSI could both be getting near 30 million if ABC didn't make that asshole move.
30 Rock and Scrubs should switch time slots. 30 Rock could use the extra viewers from the post-Office slot. I definitely want to see a second season.

30 Rock is now under 5 million viewers. I doubt 30 Rock will get a second season.

Wow, Grey's is amazing. People really love these "one of the characters are in mortal danger!" episodes, along with the big disaster thing.

Don't be too sure. With the awards Alec Baldwin has won, and the success The Office got only after it had been around for a while, I think they'll renew it. Plus, the timeslot sucks. While that's not a good excuse, NBC might want to try it somewhere else next season.

Yeah, I could see it being big at the Emmys. I think they'll renew it, but only for 13 episodes, like The CW did with VM and OTH.

I actually don't think CSI is affecting Grey's that much at all. I think Grey's Anatomy has taken a serious toll on CSI but not the other way around. Aside from the superbowl episode, this season's episode of anatomy have been it's highest ever.... just about all of them.

CSI season average: 19.91 million viewers
Grey's season average: 19.19 million viewers
For a couple months the difference was around 1 million, slightly under but the past 2 episodes have been narrowing the gap.
I think Grey's can hit 27 million next week.

I mean, for goodness sake. Grey's is short of American Idol's ratings by what...2-3 million people? So awesome.
Even though you seem smart enough, Grey's Anatomy is really an insult to the intelligence of viewers. I'm not sure how it's lasted this long. It's about as generic as they come.

I've sorta given up my fight against GA recently. Maybe because I watched the last two episodes and enjoyed them. I don't think it's groundbreaking television, but it's entertaining.
It's not a favorite, but it's good to kill some time. But nothing beats "House" for me, for medical shows, at least.
