Awards Czar Jon wrote: Veronica Mars ![]() I think more than anything, this week proves that last week was just completely insane and has no explanation. This week, there were preemptions in several places, for stupid NCAA basketball, but it's still higher than it was last week. And the week before there were also preemptions. Last week just doesn't make any sense. And I can't believe House is sticking up there. Idol is starting to fall off a bit, but House is still nearly 26mil. |

It's a shame VM can't be moved to USA network, I bet it would thrive there. |

There are so many reasons I would have loved for it to be on a cable network. |

Rob Thomas has said that the show would have gone much darker if it were on cable, like he was originally thinking. Stuff like Veronica and Duncan really would be siblings. |

I'm insinuating that USA network likes to nurture their offbeat shows and would probably showcase VM and give it a long chance to find an audience. |

That would've been totally creepishly awesome. The show is at its best (IMO) when they go places you didn't think they would (Making Goodman a pedo, the duo rapists, anything involving Veronica's rape, etc.). |

I always figured this was a kind of light hearted detective show! |
