Is this officially official now? I'm kinda tired of all these rumors for the past three years.

Its from The New York Post and they say "official." Sounds pretty official to me.

Production Staff. Does that = all the writers? *hopeful*

Anyway, this is good news.

Oh, and there are more than 52 episodes... I don't know what they were thinking, saying there was only 52.

72 does sound like a much more respectable number, doesn't it?

On one hand, I'm really happy that we're getting Futurama back on the air. On the other hand, on Comedy Central, won't that mean a smaller budget, and fewer episodes? It's a small gripe, if that, but you can't really beat 22 episodes a year on FOX, even if FOX treated it like crap.

And what about the four DVD movies? Will they become the 13 episodes now?

This means, of the 4 comedies I watch, Comedy Central will have all of them, heh.

Daily Show, South Park, Colbert Report and Futurama.

They said that 13 episodes were ordered. That sounds about right. I guess they'll run it with South Park?

Because, amazingly enough, it couldnt get good ratings at 6pm central time while always getting postponed by football.

What a loser show.

I don't even know why they put it there, when after the Simpsons was perfect for it.

I remember its first season when it was pulling more than 10 million viewers.

It's good to see Bender back as your avatar, especially since I always hear his voice when I read your posts.
