I know Berman said it's disappointing, but if Scrubs can hold that, I think NBC will be very happy. Maybe not 7th season without Braff happy, but happy enough.

Yeah, that's probably the best number for Scrubs in a couple seasons. AND those are season highs for Earl and Office.

#2 for this week or just between the three of them? I think NCIS, Criminal Minds and House (not to mention the CSI clones?)all got over 17 million viewers.

I actually thought that was pretty decent for Scrubs.

HAHA Ask Raffi.
But yeah, that 24 million should push Grey's to No. 1. But I think all 3 will be close to each other again.

More detail:
ABC and NBC tied for the No. 2 and 3 spots in the 8 p.m. hour. ABC’s Ugly Betty was second in total viewers (13.33 million) and third among adults 18-49 (4.1/11); NBC sitcoms My Name is Earl and The Office were third in total viewers (Earl: 10.03 million, The Office: 9.70 million) and second in the demo (Earl: 4.3/12, The Office: 4.6/11 – tied with the second half of Ugly Betty).
Good news for the little show that could.

Wow, Grey's is apparently going to jump a whole lot going up against a CSI rerun.
Back to good news for Ugly Betty, which had me slightly concerned with its rather high viewership dip on Thanksgiving (like, higher than I had suspected).
Decent for the NBC comedies except 30 Rock.

I think Grey was a combination of CSI rerun, and the fact that everyone wanted to see the fallout of last week's episode, which some people probably saw after the original viewing.

Very nice for Grey's Anatomy. I wonder how well CSI does against a Grey repeat.
Ugly Betty is back to normal. 13.3 actually happens to be its season average if I have it right.
I'm actually impressed with Men in Trees. For switching night almost at mid-season, it's not a bad number. Considering Grey shot up to 24+ million, though, I guess it still could have been better. If it maintains 10+ million viewers weekly against ER and Shark, I'd say it's a winner for now.

When Men in Trees premiered, what was the lead-in? Dancing With the Stars? Grey's Anatomy?

Yes, I'm such a nerd that I keep track of the averages myself via LA Times reporting, lol.
Counting Thursday night as their 11th entries this season, Grey's average should rise to around 21.1 million viewers and CSI's should drop to around 20.5 million viewers (before it was Grey: 20.8 and CSI: 21.0).
With 10 weeks under its belt, Housewives still leads with 21.5 million average but it will lose its lead this Sunday unless it can muster up 18 million viewers; otherwise, a repeat earning around 12 million could see its average drop to around 20.6 million.
Then again, I'd say give or take 100-200k viewers since I may not be exactly on the money but 100-200k viewers is all that's really separating them now

Great for Grey's Anatomy. The premiere number for Scrubs in my mind is impressive. Isn't that the best numbers Scrubs has posted in years?

CSI could, potentially, do better with a repeat of Grey's than vice versa. CSI reruns always score well, while Grey's has proven to have mediocre repeat numbers.
