:cheer: Let's just hope that all those new viewers decide to watch all the reruns this hiatus to keep the average up. And then they all come back in January.

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer: SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GIVE IT A CHANCE, CW?

And how the hell does NCIS do that?

Quite simple, NCIS averaged around 15.7 million viewers the last few weeks while Dancing with the Stars was around. It was bound to go up once DwtS was gone. There is only one new episode left, before AI arrives. Then the numbers will be back down by 2-3 million again.

Pisher was rubbing in the overnights before the fast nationals came in. He's been uncharacteristically silent since then. I wonder why. :D

Excellent news for Veronica Mars.

Big Day actually had slightly more viewers than I expected. I was honestly expecting less than 5 million.

Is it just me or have the ratings for The Unit gone down quite a bit from last year?

Very good for VM, hopefully the CW can soon realize how important their advertising for these episodes are... same thing happened for OTH last year, one good promo, and it brought out a season high, not counting the premeire. I hope for good things coming OTH's way this week, as it's promo was also more impressive than usual.

I hate CBS and their unstoppable load of crime procedurals... so uncreative, so bland. I don't get why every one of these identical shows can all be megahits. Bleh.

What the hell is it with promos? Do they cost a lot to put together or something? It seems ridiculous that the CW can't promote their shows better. I know the CW needs new shows in order to survive in the long term (especially with shows like Gilmore Girls and 7th Heaven up there in seasons), but they can't just give up on what they have, either.

I think it's down a good 2 million (or more).

CBS is unreal with ratings, but they don't have anything that will be winning Emmys this year in the drama department. CSI is long past its time when it could have won an Emmy or two. The spinoffs have zero chance. Their Friday bunch is Emmy repellant. James Woods has an outside chance at a nomination, but the show is too bland (coming from someone who only watched the first three eps, so Shark Fans don't kill me!). There's absolutely nothing that CBS has in the line of dramas that will get Emmy attention.

At least on the Comedy side, they'll have Two and a Half Men racking up a few nominations.

Do you think it's in danger of being canceled or, at the very least, moved to a different night? It just seems like such a bland show that I'm surprised it ever caught on at all.

A move to a new night seems more likely.

The really ridiculous thing is that they have promos that they don't use. They spend whatever it costs to make the promos, and show them twice during the week.

I agree. For The Unit to go down from a compatible lead-in is just weird.

The Charlie Brown Special did quite well. Do they always rate that high?
I guess that's about right for Big Day and ABSOLUTELY horrible for HMHY... it should be gone by January.
I'm surprised Boston Legal dipped below 10 million after earning 13+ million on Sunday night.

Nice bump for Veronica Mars but scroll down the thread and from the reactions you'd think it got like 5 million viewers. ;)
