It was pretty funny. I would say that all of the stand ups except maybe Mike Epps and maybe one more were hysterical. Williams was Williams and still very funny, Whoopie and Crystal were very hit and miss though. Crystal when he was trying to be funny was good but when he tried to be serious it just was painful, as with Whoopie.

Dane Cook, Sarah Silverman, and Louis Black were best for me, they were hysterical.

Bill Mhar was Bill Mhar (I know the spelling was wrong) DL Hughly wasn't bad. Ray Ramano was pretty good and suprisingly Rosie O'Donnel was actually really funny I thought. Tom Arnold was on all types of drugs.

But all in all, the serious parts were serious, the comics were for the most part very good, and the Hosts, apart from Williams, aren't as strong as they once were, but they still held the show together well.

I'm in the middle of watching it on Tivo (I forgot it was on so I Tivo'd the west coast feed on HBO). Hopefully it doesn't fun too far over three and a half hours because that's the timeslot it recorded. I was at the New York one in '98 and I thought it went on much longer than that.

As for the show so far, Romano was good as well as Rosie. Dane Cook though was the best for me so far with his take on the commercial you always see asking for you to donate 15 cents to help little children. I thought that was very good. Also about that, I've now heard both cuts. I heard the TBS cut when it aired live (I joined late) and now the HBO cut. On TBS they might as well have bleeped out his entire segment. You couldn't understand a goddamn thing he was saying because he was swearing so much. What didn't make sense to me though was that the show aired on TBS with a TV-MA rating. It's on cable, just air the damn thing as it is. Still though, I'm glad I Tivo'd the HBO one.

When I watch the rest I'll comment on it.
