Did CSI have a really good promo this week?

Seriously, that was kind of weird.

Or is it just Deal or no Deal leaving?

CSI was due for a few wins over Grey's. I'm sure GA will be the top draw again in a few weeks, then CSI will have another go at Number 1.

It's just weird that they went up and Grey's stayed the same. I was going to say that people were catching onto the fact that Grey's kinda sucks now, but they didn't lose any viewers.

IN season-to-date news, I just went to the zap2it chart and Desperate Housewives is now No.1 while Greys and CSI are a close 2 and 3.

It kinda makes sense that Deal viewers would flock to CSI. Deal isn't a show you really need to watch every week, same as CSI. So, those viewers decided to go with the same type of show (not the genre).

Wow, crazy-leap for CSI. I agree DOND's absence helped it, but I think an identical-twins murder did have some some weird WTF? pull-power to it, like a miniature of a crime scene (The only other CSI episode to top 23M). I guess this means DOND's leave is going to help CBS in the long-term.

Hmmm... that is kinda weird. Also... that's CSI's highest rated episode this year is it not?

To go up 3 million viewers is quite a jump. And I agree DOND probably did have alot to do with it.

I was kind of expecting Betty to be a slightly bigger hit... around the 15 million range.

That could solely be due to the fact that Housewives has yet to repeat a single episode while both Grey and CSI have had one repeat each.

With dips under 20 million, I just don't see how DH has bested Anatomy so far.

30 Rock did horrible so I guess CSI gained some viewers who had been watching Deal or No Deal.

Has "Shark" been any more interesting lately? I watched the first three shows, and I was bored. James Woods is good, but he's not enough to carry a show.

It's horribly sad that Til Death is so low in the ratings. It's a very funny show. There must
be an audience for it somewhere.

Didn't Fox actually grant it a full season?

If so, they might move it on Sundays, seeing that the repeats there after The Simpsons get 5 million viewers.

Poor 30 Rock, just as it's starting to get good there's barely an audience for it.

Til Death will either go to Sundays after Simpsons or Wednesdays after Idol. And if Fox has anything close to any brains, they'll put House on Thursdays at 8 so that they don't risk losing to CW.
