30 rock
I saw it tonight, I thought it was pretty funny. Best parts were my Tracey Moran and Alec Baldwin. Not sure how it will do.

I could see 30 Rock doing well in its premiere, like My Name is Earl did last year. But it won't end up being a big hit.
Favorite line: "Five inches, but it's thick."

Yeah I keep hoping that comidies can make a come back. I am not too sure about the show after it, 20 good years. Lithgow was funny, but if that is all you have to look forward to, it could get old real fast.

Maybe it's just me, but I pretty much hated the premiere. As I said on the Wednesday Ratings thread, it was good for a couple of laughs here and there, but the show as a whole wasn't very funny. I liked Alec Baldwin and Tracy Morgan, but Tina Fey was just meh. Also, was Rachel Dratch supposed to play Jane Krakowski's originally before she pretty muched got kicked off the show, because I remember seeing Dratch in that corset that Krakowski had on during some of the ad's. Or was she just filling in before Krakowski was hired?
And what about that score? I at first thought the opening theme song was a joke, because it's the theme song to the fictional show they're working on, but they kept that theme going throughout the entire show. I'd rather the show not have any music over something similar to last night.
That saying though, I'm going to continue watching because I know Fey can deliver. And if Morgan and Baldwin can stay on track, this could end up being a good show.

Baldwin and his lines were great, the rest was so-so. Overall too sloppy but has enough good elements that it has a chance of evolving. I'd say this show looks like it deserves to stick around but not one I will watch regularly.

It was decently funny but certainly could have been better at the same time. I'll give it another chance next week. 20 Good Years though basically sucked.

The premiere is watchable on nbc.com. Or at least was 2 days ago, probably still is.

I just caught the second episode. I'd say it's somewhat of an improvement over last week's episode, but it's disappointing considering everyone involved. And they really need to stop with the Rachel Dratch cameos. She once again wasn't funny at all, and stopped the show dead in it's tracks. Michaels and Fey really have to get over this thing they have for her, and just drop her from the show completely.
That saying though, I'm not sure how much longer the show is going to be on for.

I just caught the latest episode on NBC.com. Hands down easily the best show to date. I liked the lesbian subplot, the Conan reference (Can't wait to see him in an upcoming episode) and Kenneth. The thing I liked best though was that there was no Rachel Dratch. No Rachel Dratch = perfect.
I hope that the first two shows were just getting the kinks out and that this last episode was the first in a line of good shows to come. I have a feeling that the move to Thursday's is the right move at the right time, despite the heavy competition. On Wednesday this show would've continued to go unnoticed and probably would've been cancelled come January. Now on Thursday it has a chance.

I'm catching up on Episode 2 right now. I'm really not into this show. I think Jane Krakowski is a million light years ahead of what Rachel Dratch could have done in the role (Rachel doesn't quite scream "leading lady"). Alec Baldwin has his moments. But I'm not a fan of Tracy Morgan, and I can take or leave Tina Fey.

Im a fan, mainly because I've always had a crush on Tina Fey.
I met a girl last weekend in FL who looked like a cross between Fey and Kristin Davis.

Too bad you went to a diffferent lifestyle. Once you go gay, you can never go the straight way.

Her name is Samantha, so on paper, Sam would be a pretty butch nickname.

That's fine. Just don't ask her to dress up like a football player. That can only lead to trouble.

From what I saw of the show tonight I liked what I saw once again. I'll probably have to go through it once again though because I kept dozing off for about a minute here or there. I did like the skimpy outfit bit between the girl and Fey. I also think that even though were five episodes into the series, the NBC page is easily the funniest character on the show.
It's improving every week and hopefully it'll do decently once it moves.

It's funny enough to keep watching, but I'm still not blown away. It's more in the league of watching alongside My Name is Earl for me. I like it, I'll keep watching, but if I miss it, I won't kill myself.
For those wondering, a comedy above that league would be The Office.

I saw one episode, the poker game, pretty good and I like the goof that Alec Baldwin plays.

He's definitely the best part of the show. If 30 Rock survives the season, I'm sure an Emmy nod for him is guaranteed.
